As Venture Analyst Manager for The Acceleration Group (TAG), Al Quaye brings his entrepreneurial and leadership experience, as well as his enthusiasm to our team.  Al assists our clients through the diligence steps and helping fast growth companies through the TAG escorting and client management process.

Al Quaye has a proven history of leading high-growth companies to success in the market place.  For more than 10 years, Al has been an investor in - and worked in senior sales and marketing roles with fast growth companies such as RuleStream, Mustang.com and FreeMarkets.  In addition to helping these companies grow their client base, Al developed and implemented critical processes key to the success of these companies.  Al was also instrumental in helping these companies integrate new technology and successfully launch programs into the marketplace.

As a US Army Captain he led several high profile projects.  Significant accomplishments include the construction of a successful barrier to illegal immigration along the U.S./Mexican border, planning for the Army’s largest troop movement on the east coast since the Korean War.  Al also was the port Engineer in Port -au- Prince during Operation Uphold Democracy in 1994.

Al earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University and his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. 

Al resides in Arlington, VA.  He enjoys living and working in our nation’s capital. As an avid boxer and tri-athlete he also enjoys skiing, football, water sports and a host of other activities.
