A founding member of The Acceleration Group, Scott McManus brings experience as an angel investor, executive leadership with multiple companies, and fundraising. Scott is currently the CEO of Ganix Bio-technologies. He has also led and participated in many private investmen offerings. Scott is also the founder of North American Funding and has led multiple property development projects.
Scott began his career as a financial analyst with Citibank, USA. During his eight year tenure, he developed complex financial models that were ultimately used in the development of the Citibank and Diners Club International's credit card business.
In 1992, Scott's entrepreneurial skills were put to the test. He founded Turtle Stop, a convenience store concept, that grew to a 25- store regional chain with outlets in three western states. Sales topped the $100 million mark. Scott's highly developed entrepreneurial skills have engaged him in many ventures including several restaurants, retail outlets, and mortgage banking. Land Capital Financial was founded in May 2003. Land Capital Financial specializes in commercial lending.
He is a past member of the National Coca-Cola Leadership Council, and is currently a member of the National Federation of Independent Business and the Nevada Mortgage Brokers Association. The Las Vegas Business Press nominated Scott as a Top 40 under 40, highlighting his significant achievements. Who's Who of Southern Nevada named him among their distinguished men of Southern Nevada. Scott McManus is one of the eight Founding members of the Las Vegas Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization.
